“NO PRESSURE, NO PLAN, NO FIXED AGENDA.”

I’ve been making winter migrations to the southern hemisphere more and more over the last few years. It is a time of year when I take my foot off the gas and spend my early mornings walking at sunrise with friends' dogs, then going to a gym to heal my body from the year’s travels, preparing for the next,

It’s about connecting with a place and people I feel at home with. None of this would be possible without the endless generosity of my sister and the set of humans she has surrounded herself with.  There is a sense of pride, warmth, a sense of place, purpose and belonging that this group of humans gives me. There is always a spare room or a house to sit with a dog that needs walks and a car to be used.

Creatively, for me, it’s time I go back to this pure form of shooting what I see and who I meet. No pressure, no plan, no fixed agenda. Letting myself do whatever the wind blows at my door each day.
