“Like so many people, my life during the pandemic radically changed”

I found myself with the calendar empty and an unknown future ahead. One industry not on the essential worker's list that kept rolling was film and TV. In my 20s, I used to work in the events world as a rigging and lighting technician. Part of the skillset was driving forklifts and telehandlers. I spent a large proportion of 2020 cutting about a film studio in my wee green forklift as the construction department's strange hand and forks driver.

These portraits are a small selection of the wonderful humans I spent time with during that time. A motley crew of fiercely talented men and women. Some old friends and some new ones. I will forever be grateful for their help, friendship, and wicked sense of humour, which all gave me a deep sense of belonging at one of the hardest junctions in my life. It was a true band of brothers and sisters.
